Gandhi is more alive today than ever

The world is changing rapidly so does India and her problems. It was Gandhiji who tried to fight and fight with his unique ways with the truth (Satya), Ahimsa (Non-Violence), Moral (Ataman Manthan/Naitik), love (Pyar) for one and all made him “Bapu” or Father of Nation in India and even a non-violent person across the world. Hence his birthday became “International Non-Violence day”. It is very rightly given titled to him as he deserved it more than anything else. As we celebrate this day in India as 150th Birthday anniversary of Mahatma we should also learn his principle not by heart instead of in practice. As practicing his ideas are more difficult which simple yet powerful weapon it is. He believed always in a tolerant, plural society and a Hindu way of simple life. He also at the same time believed in multiple religious identities for India which is needed the most. There are many books written in the world. But he is the one on whose name every year many books written which is also his understanding for the world. The Roads, Statues and colonies, cities, towns etc are named on him is it in many cities in India or any other countries across the globe. Why? The answer is simple- his simplicity and love for all. On this day we should celebrate his unique identity the way many celebrate across the globe. Hope in the days to come to his Gandhigiri as in “Lage Raho Munna Bhai” a Bollywood movie amazed everyone will amaze Nobel peace prize committee to give him a Noble peace prize to his ideals. That will be another milestone for all Indians to celebrate the way Albert Einstein said “Generation to come will scarce believe that such a one as this ever in flesh and blood walked upon this earth” Happy International Non-violence Day 2018 to one all. Live and let others live as famously Mahatma said in the many famous quotes of his time. Today this is what needed to be a pluralistic Indian society as one side it is lower caste and upper caste strikes each other in different parts of the society and at the same time, women and men equality is a matter of concern which needs to be bridged up. This was a dream of Gandhiji to have an equal society. Lastly, Gandhiji’s dream of village republic is need of the hour more as many as 66-67% populations of India live in here. They need jobs, innovative skills to survive on their own. If they all will come to cities which are called as “engine of growths” will simply ruin the balance of nature and habitation as cities are scarce of so many things be it water, air, or even space. Hence We need Gandhi’s idea to be implemented more practically then ever!

Wish you all International Day of Non-Violence and the 150th Birth anniversary of departed Mahatma of our lives Mr. Mohan Das Karamchand Gandhi 🙂 IMG_20180120_164428
